Today whilst searching through youtube searching for action movie soundtracks I found this soundtrack which had been made.
The soundtrack includes all the key features of an action movie soundtrack. It starts with drums beating slowly building up to a climax creating lots of tension for the audience. It also includes some strings to add some more heightened tension along with the drums. The soundtrack includes lots of elements that have given me inspiration for our soundtrack such as the heavy beating drums slow building up to a crescendo and then adding in some strings to keep the audience interested and to show a change of pace in the trailer.

Cubase and Creating Soundtracks
Today in lesson we went to one of the music rooms and were given a tutorial on cubase by a music teacher to show us how we can make our own soundtracks to accompany our trailers. We then had a go ourselves at making a soundtrack and exploring the uses and functions of cubase. Doing this has shown me how with little musical knowledge I would be able to create quite a good soundtrack. A benefit of creating your own soundtrack is that you can fit it perfectly within the trailer which creates more immersion for the audience and increases the impact of the trailer.
